HOUSE LEAGUE CHANGES
The biggest change of the season is a city-wide change to the former Atoms/Mite age divisions. They will now operate as a U8 division for anyone born 2004 or later. There will be 3 different levels within the U8 and those teams will be formed based on skill rather than age. The hopes of this change will allow players to play more evenly matched teams and prevent players who are just starting out from getting discouraged. The U8 age division will kick off the season with a city-wide jamboree. More information to come soon!
HOUSE GAME SCHEDULE
This season will consist of 16 games per age division starting the weekend of October 20-21 with the end of the season tournament tentatively planned for the weekend of February 23-24.
HOUSE PRACTICE SCHEDULE
We are happy to announce this season that the Kansas City Fighting Saints players will be receiving more practice ice than ever. Players will have the opportunity to have a minimum of 28 practices. Starting in November, Squirt through Bantam will also receive a once a month organizational practice throughout the season.

HOUSE FEE SCHEDULE
The Kansas City Fighting Saints experienced a 10% increase in ice cost for the 2012-13 season so there will be a slight increase in fees for all age divisions with exception of the former Mites division. The Kansas City Fighting Saints board is working diligently to create ways to generate income for the organization in order to help offset costs for families and keep the sport of hockey as affordable as possible. SELECT TEAMS
The Kansas City Fighting Saints will field one select team in each of the Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam age divisions. For those of you not familiar with select teams, it is an opportunity for your house player to play at a higher level and in a tournament setting. There are 3 set tournaments per year and often times travel is required to go to the tournaments. Each select team may decide to play in more tournaments or friendly games.
